Tournament Instructions

Arrive at the Course in plenty of time to check in, find your cart, warm up, and be ready to go.

Check in is between 7am - 8am

Before the Round...

  • Check in at the Scoring table. 
  • Pick up you official scorecard with Steve, Michael, Jon, or Jason
  • See Tom Hubbard to participate in Net or Gross Skins (pick up a Net Skins card)
  • See Jason to participate in the Par3 Contest
  • See John to purchase additional 50/50 tickets (1 is attached to your card)

  • Please complete your warmups on the Putting Green or Range and return to your carts by 8:15am for Announcements

  • Swap your official scorecards with the other cart with whom you are playing.

  • The Course will lead us out to the starting holes just before 8:30

During the Round...


CLEARLY write down the correct score for the golfers whose card(s) you are keeping.
 Do not keep any other scores on that card. Please use additional cards as needed


After the Round...


SCORERS:  

  • COMPLETELY Total the card including HDCP and NET totals, and VERIFY it is correct with the golfer whose card you are keeping.

  •  PRINT your name in the Scorer line on the card, and give back to the golfer.

GOLFERS: 

  • Once you get your card back, ensure it is CORRECT, TOTALED COMPLETLY and the Scorer has printed his name.  Sign your name in the Attest line.

  • If you participated in the Net Skins:  Make sure to Write your name on the card, COMPLETELY TOTAL including subtracting  your handicap and NET Score.

  • Drop your tournament scorecard in the appropriate Flight bins on the Scorers Table.  Drop your Net Skins card in the Net Skins bin.

The AGO Board will begin to review scorecards, confirming totals, and once confirmed, the scores will be posted on the scoresheets.

We will automatically add the tournament scores to the scoring system, and post the results on the website by Monday night at the latest. It many cases, we post the results Sunday evening.

The AGO Board meets the Tuesday night after the tournament via Conference Call to review the tournaments processes, how the course and course staff way, and any issues encountered.  If you have any concerns after the tournament, be sure to mention it to any of the board members.
