Pending usually indicates that the message has not been delivered, which sometimes means that it has been blocked, but not necessarily. If you’re wondering how to tell if someone blocked you on snapchat, check if the pending status stays for days and you also can’t view their Snap score or Bitmoji. The same can be caused by poor internet or deleted account. Test with a mutual friend to determine if it is operating normally. If the person is still pending after then, then it's probably a block. If you're interested in comparing signs, Boostbysocial has a simple checklist on this.
