Black Ops 7 Season 1 has now arrived, and there's a ton for players to check out from multiplayer to all of the new content in zombies. Like any new season, there's a wide array of new weapons, maps and game modes; and we're going to run over how you'll be able to unlock the Maddox RFB, a weapon we've seen in the past. Here's what we know.

While this year gamers are splitting their time between Black Ops 7, Battlefield 6 and Arc Raiders, there's some passion behind all of these, and intrigue around every major update.

Season 1's content release has added some new weapons, and as in previous iterations of Call of Duty, these will be unlockable via the battle pass.

The Maddox RFB originally appeared in Black Ops 4 and COD Mobile, and will now make it's way into BO7 as players will be able to unlock it via page six of the battle pass.

A favorite from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the Maddox RFB returns to action in Black Ops 7. The weapon’s manageable recoil, fast fire rate, and large ammo pool make it ideal for sustained fights. The Maddox’s capabilities really begin to shine as you level up the weapon and gain access to more Attachments like the Extended Mag I, granting a Mag Size of 50 with no drawbacks. Look for other powerful additions to push the Maddox towards long-ranged precision or snappy, mid-ranged play.
